It’s no secret that I love my birthday and I rarely hold back when celebrating it. But what’s a girl to do for her 40th when she goes big for all birthdays?

I mean, seriously – I’ve had a presidential campaign barbecue, a Queen cover band, Dirty Dancing lessons, and so much more! But 40 is epic. 40 is all out. 40 has to be so big that some might say it’s of biblical proportions!

And that’s when it hit me – 40 days and 40 nights of celebrations. That’s how I rock 40. I will be celebrating from February 14th to March 25th with at least one daytime and one nighttime celebration per day.

Now, I am turning 40 which means I have limited energy, so I have to be realistic with these celebrations. I mean I want to actually make it to my 40th birthday (March 22nd, by the way). So, 40 of the celebrations will be what I’m calling Alicia’s Top 40 – a song from each year I’ve been alive, chosen by 40 different friends and family members. Plus, I will be dedicating a song from 2019 to myself as my “one to grow on” song.

That still leaves 39 different celebrations where you may be able to join me in celebrating! Check out the Events page to see when and where you want to hop on this party ark, but please note there are some closed events due to space constraints and there are some events that require registration/tickets/credentials.

Once you get to the Events page, you’ll notice that my 40 days and 40 nights culminate with a trip to NYC, which just so happens to be at 40 degrees latitude. That’s right, I intend to devour The Big Apple just like Eve did way back when. This is me at 40 and you know you’re tempted to join in the fun!
